Reunion Program & Highlights
The Reunion was attended by over 230 Mosler Employees,
their spouses and special guests.
The evening program was opened with an inspiring Invocation by
the Reverend Elby Harrison, a former Hamilton Service employee.
With Gene Gabbard
presiding as the 2014 Mosler Reunion
Committee representative, guests were welcomed before being
treated to a surprise
visit by Hamilton Ohio City Mayor, Pat Moeller, who
presented
the group with a proclamation from the City of Hamilton, Ohio
"recognizing the Mosler Safe Company and Mosler Employees for
their
lasting impression on the City of Hamilton, Ohio and the world."
Mr. Gabbard accepted the award on behalf of former Mosler employees.
The proclamation document is now on display at the Butler County
Historical Society
Museum in Hamilton, Ohio.
Former Hamilton Journal News editor and Hamilton
Historian
Jim Blount, recounted his personal connection to the Mosler Safe Company
and provided an interesting overview of his knowledge of Mosler from
a historical perspective. Jim is currently authoring a Timeline (1960 - 2001)
of Mosler Safe Company on the Lane Public Libraries Internet blog that
is being

Former Mosler Executive Dennis L. Wright, provided humorous
insight
into his experiences with Mosler mentors past and
present, prior to
his
"premature retirement".
Retired Mosler
Security Expert and Member of the Reunion Committee,
Nils Olaf Pearson thanked everyone for attending and gave everyone a hilarious
closing Laugh, with his story about two Norweigian Moose Hunters.
Retired Mosler Executive Hank Hinrichsen presented Gene Gabbard
a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Reunion Committee for
his efforts in planning, organizing and reuniting former Mosler coworkers.
A delicious Dinner Buffet was prepared by Marriott Chef Jamie Campbell
and served by Marriott Staff,
with all Hotel events coordinated by Marriott
Catering Manager, Stephanie Clark.
Many attendees expressed sincere appreciation for the fond memories
and cherished friendships rekindled at the 2014 Reunion Event.
